Is it a rocket?
The Rocket is an extremely English leaf that has been used to make salads since Elizabethan times.
It has a distinct spicy, peppery flavor and leaves that have a subtle ‘bite in them.
If you find ‘rucola or ‘arugula’ offered on a restaurant’s menu, it’s exactly the same item.
How do you prepare rockets?
Simply rinse the rocket, and you’re good to go.
Mix it with other salad leaves. Throw the mixture over pasta or pizza. You can also stir it into eggs, pasta dishes, or other dishes and add it in the final minute to preserve the peppery taste.
How to store a rocket?
Store in the bottom part of your fridge, in brown paper or a perforated bag. It will last for a maximum of two days.

Available year-round in supermarkets. Rocket is incredibly easy to grow, in fact, it could take over your whole veg patch.
Choose the best rocket
Look for perky dark-bright green leaves. Avoid those that look slimy, yellowed, or browning, as they’re past their best.
